The Biography of Dayle Eason
Dayle Wilson Eason was born Sept. 10th, 1969 as the second child of Donnie W. Eason, Sr. and Diane Bailey Eason. Growing up in Garner, NC, Dayle was quite a character as a kid, {and he still is} say's his Mom. Weather playing outside with the other kids or inside watching TV, Dayle was always able to keep himself occupied. As a child he remembers listening to his mother Diane sing around the house and he also remembers many weekends his mother was away performing with many groups throughout the years, trying to pursue her life long dream as a singer and entertainer.
Graduating from Garner High School in 1987, Dayle knew he wanted to be connected to the music business to some degree. He always had a passion for singing therefore he started a business of being a Karaoke DJ. He traveled around the state doing this for about ten years on and off, entering many local and regional contest. "I never won first place," he admits but I did win second place. When his Mom asked him if he would be interested in being a part of the show she was producing, it was like a dream come true for him. he says it was always a lifetime dream to be able to be on stage with his Mom. He wanted to help her fulfill her dream.
Dayle attributes his way of treating other people to his late father Donnie. "My Dad was the most wonderful man I've every known period". "He instilled in me to never make the same mistake twice." I will always miss him". Dayle says the ironic thing about singing and participating in the show with Diane is, he is performing songs from the late Conway Twitty who just happened to be his dad's favorite singer.
When Dayle isn't busy helping his mother in the production of Sweet Dreams, "Again", he works in the health services field. "It's all about helping people," he says. Family is very important to Dayle. He has two brothers, Don Eason,Jr. and Dwayne Carlisle, and two sisters, Dayle Eason and Hollie Eason.
When asked what he thinks about the possibilities of the show becoming a huge success, he simply states, "It's already a success in our eyes. We just want everyone across this country to see this show." "Once you hear that heavenly voice of my mom's, you're hooked for life!"
One thing Dayle would like to leave with everyone is this, "Let the people you care about the most know it everyday, you may not get the chance tomorrow.
